Disappointing experience. We booked after seeing the hotel’s high score, but things went wrong from the start. Check-in took 45 minutes and involved lots of security checks and questions. I booked with a friend, but there was no privacy: the bathroom door is clear, so you can see someone showering, and it doesn’t close properly, so you hear everything when someone uses the toilet. The hotel is five minutes from the metro but outside the city center. We decided not to eat breakfast on the last day. On top of that, the Wi-Fi hardly ever worked, and our room smelled of cigarettes with no way to open the window. The only positives were the smiling reception staff and the price. We don’t recommend it.

The shared space was a highlight, with a comfortable recreation area, dining space, kitchen, and a place to dry clothes. Our double room had a TV, toiletries, shower gel, a hair dryer, and a washing machine with detergent provided. We enjoyed staying here, and I’d definitely recommend it. Everything worked out perfectly.

The room wasn’t as soundproof as I’d hoped, and water leaked out from under the toilet door. Still, there’s a supermarket nearby and the subway is fairly close, so it may be a reasonable option.

The room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The owner kindly moved us to a larger room he had available and helped us find our way around the city. The hotel is right beside a metro station. The neighborhood looked a little rough at first, but I grew to like the local shops, especially since I’d been to China before.

The metro is within walking distance, and the hotel is centrally located. It’s not a bad option.
