Getting around Shanghai takes time because distances are huge, but taxis and Uber-type services were easy to use and quite cheap. There’s no subway nearby, so we relied on cars. The hotel worked well for my plans between the airport and exhibition area, and the price for what you get is hard to beat despite being far from the city center. Inside, it feels modern and clean, with a nice smell throughout. Staff were polite and helpful, the beds, mattresses, and pillows were just right, and the room had lots of lighting options, including a night light. Breakfast was unbelievable, with loads of great dishes. I’d recommend it.

The staff were the best part of my stay, efficient and helpful, and the room was fairly clean. The free airport shuttle is a big help, though the old bus rattles like a clicky train. This is a budget place for sleeping before a flight, so expectations should stay modest. It sits in a rural, undeveloped village area (rural village) with no shops or convenience stores nearby, and there’s nowhere to walk to. The on-site “pond” also had a noticeable smell, which was disappointing. I found earlier reviews a bit misleading and not very useful. You get what you pay for, with no luxury or local amenities.

The room was very clean and tidy, and it’s only about 20-25 minutes from the airport. Staff were excellent and quick to offer help. They run shuttles to Disneyland and the airport, and breakfast and supper are available too. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The meals were good, with late dinner and breakfast both a 10/10, and the service started off well. But checking out left a bad impression. I was in a hurry, and a man waited while pushing me to leave a 10-star review on trip.com. After I posted it, he asked again and wanted me to show proof. I just wanted to get going and didn’t think much about it at the time, but I found it kind of rude. Everything else, including the food, was good.
