The room was tiny, and the bed and basic bathroom were just okay, though everything I needed was there. What made the stay was the friendly, B&B-style help: they took photos for us, brought me morning coffee, and gave advice on my trip and getting back to Santa Marta. For GGM fans, the place is full of quotes and scenes from his book.

There are just three rooms in this house, and only two have air conditioning, so it feels more like a hostal than a hotel. The owners are super nice and make you feel part of the family. I loved the cheerful, beautiful patio.

No hot water, which is normal for this region. The place has more of a bed-and-breakfast guesthouse feel than a hotel, and staying here feels like being a houseguest in one of García Marquez's novels. Everyone was very welcoming. Thank you! :)
