I liked how quiet it was, with coffee, plantain and papaya plantations all around the hotel on the outskirts of Armenia. Derly and Rubiel, the kitchen helpers, were lovely and happy to help with anything. The pool and jacuzzi were nice, though you have to ask for them to be turned on around 6pm. A night with breakfast was about 38$; beer cost 1,2$US and lunch was 5,5. It's a simple, plain hotel, so don't expect anything fancy.

The website photos make this place look much nicer than it is. We booked four nights but left after just one. The food was disgusting, the rooms were dark and short on supplies, and there were lots of small animals inside. I didn't feel safe there, and I wouldn't recommend it.

If you're after a bit of nature, this finca hotel is a nice option. It's south of Armenia, very close to el Eden Airport, and the facilities were clean. The rooms are spacious, though the mattresses felt a little hard.

A quiet, safe, clean place with plenty of space, and a nice spot to spend time with family. They have accommodation, food service, a swimming pool, and more.
