Hotel Portal Del Norte Armenia

The room was basic, but it had what I needed, and I liked the location and easy access to things to do. The hospitality was great. Breakfast was included, and there was coffee available around the clock. Showering was difficult because the water pressure was so low. They also turn off the hot water in the afternoons, which I understand, but that should be mentioned in the listing. I'd stay again for a quick stop.

Breakfast was delicious, with different options to choose from. The room was clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable. My husband is particular about a comfy bed, and we both slept soundly. The staff were friendly and gave good service. I definitely recommend staying here, we had a nice experience 😉

I stayed in room 301 over the weekend. At checkout, I noticed some belongings weren't where I'd left them, including a suitcase zipper that was closed near the handle when I remembered leaving it differently. I didn't think much of it then. Once home, while unpacking and handing out gifts for my family, I found several things missing, including a black Adidas jacket I'd brought for my cousin. It's upsetting that this happened. I doubt the jacket or other items will turn up, and I expect the situation will be denied and any promised investigation will go nowhere. I won't return or recommend this place. During my stay, the public health office also visited because of non-compliance with sanitation protocols.

This staff treated my team with a level of care, joy, and passion I don't often come across. The hotel is also very well maintained. I travel a lot, and finding a place that gives you more than you expected feels like a blessing. I'll be back next year because I feel at home here.
