La Chiva Hostel

Camilo, Fernanda, and their mom made my family and me feel at home, even through New Year's Eve. Their warmth and hospitality were wonderful, and the service was excellent. The facade may not impress when you first arrive, but inside everything felt welcoming and was clean and organized. The room, common areas, and location were all comfortable, and they were very attentive to their guests. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay, and I'd recommend it despite a couple of issues. The staff were excellent, attentive, helpful, and super friendly; the rooms were clean and spacious, and the location is strategic, close to everything. Rooms facing the street can be noisy late into the night because the place is next to a bar. I also asked about booking directly, as they recommended, instead of through Booking.com, but they didn't honor the quoted reservation price and I had to pay extra. If you're coming by motorcycle or car, there's a 24-hour parking lot below the Primavera Life shopping center.

A good hostel with friendly service, a nice breakfast, and comfortable mattresses. The location is excellent, with shops, pharmacies, and restaurants nearby. Just keep in mind that noise from nearby bars can carry into street-facing rooms, though that's outside the hostel's control.
