The staff were welcoming and friendly, cats included. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the town center, and for USD 5 per person breakfast was pretty good, with fruit, scrambled eggs, arepa, tamale, croissant, cheese, and coffee. My USD 40 room was basic but clean and comfortable, and the corridor had a lovely view. The shower had no cover, which was inconvenient in the rain, and there was no hot water. The outlets were also in awkward spots. At this price, though, I suppose you can’t expect too much.

The hosts were kind, and the setting and views were beautiful. Breakfast was good, though for the best coffee I’d go to Nona's Bread by the plaza. Yariguies, a delicious restaurant, and a phenomenal viewpoint are both just a short walk away. The cats were cute too. I could happily have stayed forever.

The rooms were lovely, and parking was easy just outside town. I really enjoyed this place and would recommend it.

The staff were always around and super friendly, and our room had plenty of space plus extra seating just outside. It’s a bit of a walk to the center, but strolling along Barichara’s streets is part of the pleasure. Beautiful hotel, beautiful town, and a great stay. I loved it!

It’s a peaceful, comfortable spot on the edge of Barichara, but everything is still walkable. The rooms are simple and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi works. I especially liked the outdoor bathrooms with rain showers in the warm weather. It’s family-run, and everyone was kind and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here if they have a room free.
