Angélica and Enrique were wonderful, attentive, and always ready to take care of the details. The hotel is well located, just steps from the main square and on the royal mile. The rooms have been refurbished and are generally fine. I loved staying there and will come back.

The location is very good, and the staff are lovely and attentive. Breakfast was good, though the glasses smelled like egg. The so-called “Pool” was a bit disappointing, since it’s really a “water mirage.” Also, be aware that parking at the place they offer costs extra, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand. It’s a nice hotel for its location, but there are several things they don’t tell you in advance.

We’ll definitely be back. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the breakfast had lots of delicious choices, including traditional Colombian Arepas. The staff were professional and kind, so friendly, and gave us plenty of tips for things to do around Barichara. The rooftop view of the church opposite and the mountains was amazing, and the spring in the middle of the hotel made a lovely spot to relax and take photos. It’s not a pool, but you can cool your feet there. The garden is full of plants, birds, and butterflies, with sweet aromas everywhere. Our room had no windows, but the openings high in the door let in enough air, so that wasn’t a problem for us. You can reach the best restaurants in town in two minutes and Parque Pricipal in just a few more. A small, cute paradise in a wonderful colonial town, and a very special place to stay.
