The Pacho Lay

We paid about 90 US dollars for a room that was unbearable, so we had to sleep on the terrace that night. It was incredibly noisy, as if there were a generator beside the window. The door was crooked with big gaps for mosquitoes, and there were no nets. The room was filthy, the linens dirty, and the pillows had no covers. Towels had yellow and black stains and several large holes, and a fleece carpet on the floor kept rolling up, making the room feel like a construction site. When we complained, they said we shouldn’t be surprised because we were at the beach. Two hostels down, we found much better rooms at a higher standard for less money.
