Breakfast was a highlight. There was a choice of drinks, arepas, fried cheese, fruit, eggs, meat, or tamales, plus a lighter fruit option. We especially loved the arepas, crisp outside and soft and chewy in the middle. The hotel is on a quiet street in a busy neighborhood, so we could walk to lots of businesses and still sleep peacefully. The staff were warm, spoke English well, and were patient as I practiced Spanish. We also appreciated the locked front gate and quick entry whenever we came back, since someone was always at the desk. The decor felt cozy, with a study or conference area and indoor and outdoor lounges. Our room, I think the most basic one, had a built-in kitchenette and minibar. The shower had strong pressure and nice hot water, which matters a lot to me. There wasn’t a room safe, but I didn’t feel we needed one.

We hadn’t planned to stop in Bogotá. Our little one was unwell while we were flying from the Caribbean to London, so we needed somewhere to stay. The people at 5Q made us feel welcome and couldn’t have done more for us. It’s a special little hotel, with lovely old and new design details, large airy rooms, and everything we needed to feel comfortable. We’d just stayed at a Ritz-Carlton, but I’d choose to visit this place again. The people are what make a trip special. Thanks to everyone at 5Q, we loved our time there.

I only got to stay one night, unfortunately. The design is lovely, and they’ve thought of everything, including a handy little kitchen. The towels and linens felt like great quality, and they even cleaned my room that morning while I was out walking, though they really didn’t need to. Breakfast was a generous local meal, and coffee was available free all day. There are restaurants nearby too. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in bogota!

I went to Columbia to bring our family dog home and needed a hotel that could take both of us. The staff were kind and helpful from start to finish, and made us feel at home. The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant, calm, and clean. The location was just right, with lots of restaurants and only a short distance from the airport. I wish I’d had more time there and will definitely return someday. Highly recommend.
