Abadia Colonial

The only real plus is the location in the Candelaria neighborhood. There are better hotels available for better prices, so I wouldn't recommend this one. WiFi didn't reach our room, only outside, and we found spiders in the room. The shower was terrible too. Hot water stopped every two minutes, so we had to turn it off and wait a couple of minutes for it to come back.

The room was really comfortable, and the patio is a lovely place to sit. Service was five star, and I loved that they offered a vegan breakfast option. The quinoa y fruta bowl es bueno, and I also love that chocolate con agua. The main drawback was the lack of soundproofing. Other guests woke me up often. It's a walkable area with libraries, museums, places to eat, and shopping nearby, so I recommend staying here. Just know it's not close to the airport. You can get a taxi or an Uber.

The warm welcome and friendly employees made my five days at the hotel a really enjoyable stay. The food was excellent and the ingredients were high quality. The building's colonial architecture is fantastic and very well preserved. Our room was comfortable, and the modern bathroom had everything we needed.

The Italian restaurant here, Roma, serves really good stone-oven pizza at a good price. The coffee is great too, and the burrata makes a great starter to share.
