We’ve stayed here twice, and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. It’s just minutes from the airport and the island’s best beach. The refreshing pool has an unusual design, with a built-in jacuzzi. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and both they and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. This time our room had a small cooking area, so we could make our own meals and avoid paying restaurant prices for everything. There’s a supermarket just behind Hostal SolyMarislas, and guests can use the full-size kitchen in the main house. It’s a nice place to meet people from all over the world. Next door there’s a little restaurant where a very friendly, helpful man from Medellin serves quick, inexpensive breakfasts. He helped us rent a car and arrange our trip to Johnny key and acuario, and drove us to the launch site.

My parents stayed here in December and came back with nothing but good things to say. They loved the beautiful gardens and pool, the lovely, comfortable rooms, and how kind and attentive the owner was. If I could give it extra stars, I would. 100/10.

The rooms were poor quality and in bad condition, with no exterior windows, and the price was very high for the service. Even the doors wouldn’t lock with a key. I’d had high expectations, but it’s a house with a couple of rooms being advertised as a 4-star hotel. It’s not near the center and is somewhat far from the beach. Probably the only valid review.

The staff and hostess were charming, and their kindness was wonderful. It’s a cozy place with a great social area and a full kitchen. Thanks so much, I hope I can stay there again.

A great place to fully disconnect. The food was 100/10, and there’s a natural pool and a well!
