A wonderful place to stay with your family.

The setting is peaceful and feels safe, and Rocky Cay is very close. For downtown, there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the pool view is spectacular. Breakfast tastes good, though it’s the same single choice each day. Staff are helpful, but there aren’t many of them.

The beach sits right across from the hotel and is usually quiet, with few people around. It’s a calm spot, though getting to the center takes about 15 minutes by car. The breakfast was wonderful, and there’s a supermarket and a few little shops less than a block away. Our room was lovely, with a balcony and a view, a huge bathroom, and very comfortable beds. The jacuzzi wasn’t working, and some facilities were being renovated during my visit. Room service was excellent.

The pool closes at 6, and I wished I could use it later to cool off. I understand they need time to clean it, but those hours, 8 to 6, are limited. Breakfast at 8:30 also felt late if you want to head out and explore. They’re very attentive and do their best to keep things clean. It’s more of an inn than a hotel, so you need to bring your own basic cleaning supplies.
