AC Hotel Bogota Zona T

The gym could be a bit larger, though it was fine. My bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the food was good. The staff were friendly too. I’ve had great experiences at every AC Hotel I’ve stayed in, and this Marriott was another good one. AC is a great brand.

I’m a Titanium Elite member, and I had a very poor experience with the front desk. At check-in I asked to leave at 4 pm the next day, and they said that would be fine. But the next day, Sofia Rivera called my room and, in a mean way, asked me to leave early. I explained that I was a Titanium member and had already requested late checkout when I arrived. She replied, “OK OK stay, don't be rude.” When I asked for the manager, she said there weren’t any managers on the weekend. I asked them to contact me, but nobody has. If the manager doesn’t get back to me about this incident, I’ll escalate it further.

The rooftop club gets very loud, and the building doesn’t block the sound well. From a higher floor, you can hear music until quite late. The gym was another letdown, with very little equipment, and it isn’t in an adjoining office tower. Still, the price is hard to beat for this location. The hotel is in a great part of Bogota for walking around, shopping, or grabbing coffee. It was well maintained, and my room was spacious, very clean, and modern, with good air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Decent value, despite a few issues.

The staff were great, but the room was just so-so. I’m not sure Bogota has an ideal location because of the traffic, though the neighborhood itself was nice.
