The receptionist's attitude came across as arrogant and lacking empathy. One employee doesn't speak for the whole hotel, but the front desk has a big effect on a guest's experience, and this interaction reflected poorly on the hotel's brand. I hope management takes the feedback seriously so future guests get courtesy, consistent information, and support. On December 27, after missing my flight connection and getting only a short night's rest, we went down for breakfast around 9:45 a.m. A different receptionist said we had to check out by 1 p.m. at the latest because of scheduled construction. That contradicted what we'd been told the night before, when we checked in. We checked out after breakfast and left our luggage at the front desk so we could enjoy the city. When we returned around 4:15 p.m., I asked to use the bathroom. The receptionist refused, saying people were working on the floor and even she couldn't use it. I found that dismissive, especially since we were still hotel guests. We also expected to take the airport shuttle, but she said it had already left. The hotel hadn't called to let us know, and she said another one would take TWO HOURS to arrive. She showed little interest when we asked for help arranging transport, so we had to call an Uber ourselves to get to the airport.

After our Avianca flight was cancelled, we were placed at this hotel. The area felt unremarkable, and getting into Bogotá to explore meant about a 30 minute cab ride each way. The hotel seemed more like a two star property to me. Its one elevator was painfully slow, and poor soundproofing meant other guests arriving and leaving woke us several times during the night. Breakfast wasn't buffet style, and the service was inattentive. Comfortable hotels in the city are still quite affordable, so it may be worth paying out of pocket for a better option.

I've stayed here under the previous management too. The staff have always been attentive and friendly, and the place is clean and cozy. The rooftop is great. The kitchen on the 12th floor could use better food prep ventilation.

I had dinner here and it was great. I only stayed one night because my Avianca flight was delayed and I missed it. The reception people were very friendly and helpful. The wifi worked for the first few minutes, then didn't come back until the next day, and nothing was done about it. There was no A/C in the room, and I couldn't turn on the two lights above the window curtain.

My flight was delayed and they put me up here for the night. The restaurant food was really, really good, and it's a very nice place. I'd stay again if I came back to Colombia. Highly recommend.
