Apartamentos Regency La Feria

They sent me here after their sister hotel, Regency Boutique La Feria, was 'unexpectedly' closed for renovations. The rooms don't have the air conditioning advertised online, or even a fan. When I said I wanted to leave, they threatened a cancellation fee if I didn't stay. I did leave, and I'm glad I never gave them my credit card. It felt like being held hostage. A straightforward explanation and friendly service could have made the whole thing go much better.

My girlfriend and I loved our few days here, especially the breakfast, the spotless room, and the concierge available around the clock. It's right in central Bogota, in a safe neighborhood with an Oxxo, restaurants, and the metro line all within walking distance. The metro makes it easy to get wherever you need to go. We'd love to stay again.

We were here for several conference nights, and the location near the conference center was handy. It felt like a safe area, and the price was good compared with the conference hotels. Our two-bedroom apartment was very clean, with strong showers and plenty of hot water. The place is a bit worn, as others have mentioned: the carpets, decor, and even some towels could use attention. It's not a luxury stay, but the price reflects that. Breakfast came with the room, simple but good. Staff were really friendly and did their best to help even when their English was limited. Javier, the night clerk, was especially helpful and friendly. Good value if you want somewhere safe and clean in this area, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The staff were rude and insisted on scanning my passport. I showed them the law stating that the hotel only needed to record the passport number, but they wouldn't listen. I canceled, and the whole thing wasted my time and energy.
