The embassy was an easy walk, about seven minutes away, and there were grocery shops and places to eat nearby. I stayed for four days while applying for my U.S. student visa and was really happy with the experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful with calling cabs, and they waived the early cancellation fee. For around $18 a night, the room was clean and pleasant, with daily service and breakfast.

I ended up here because the other hotel I had booked was double-booked. The room was nice, and there was plenty of hot water, but breakfast was disappointing: stale bread, badly cooked eggs, and coffee. It was strangely quiet, and the place had an odd atmosphere.

The location worked really well for me, close to Corferias conference centre, the US embassy, good restaurants, and a shopping mall. I had a great stay in Bogota, with comfortable rooms, very good wifi, hot showers, and friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend it.

After being awake for 48 hours, I arrived with a Booking.com reservation and was told there were no rooms. I wouldn't trust them again.

Fine if all you're after is a hostel. The online photos don't match what I saw, and I wouldn't recommend the “suite” I stayed in.
