Bogota Marriott Hotel

If weather cancels your flight, don’t expect much help. I wasn’t asking for a refund, only to move my reservation by a day because circumstances were beyond my control. Other hotels have been happy to do that, even with promotional rates. All they offered was basically, “sorry about your luck, pal.” Choosing short-term profit over a lasting relationship says a lot about their idea of customer service, and I imagine the rest of the facilities reflect it. I’ll stay at Hotel Movic Buro 26 from now on, and I’d suggest others do the same.

The service is great, and the restaurants are lovely, especially the breakfast buffet 🥰😋. The hotel itself is outstanding. The room upkeep could be better, though. There was mold around the A/C vent system, which could affect the air quality.

We booked a couples massage after a long day of hiking, and it was wonderfully relaxing. Daisy gave me a fantastic massage. Our room was perfect, with a lovely city and mountain view, and the hotel is close enough to the airport for an easy flight without being right next to it. We were there for two nights on a spontaneous weekend trip to Bogota, Colombia. The breakfast was a letdown. We went to the restaurant as soon as it opened, but all the food was cold. It seemed pretty clear we were eating leftovers from the day before. Still, the executive lounge was very well stocked and had some of the most professional hotel staff. We had a great stay overall, and I’d highly recommend the hotel.

The team at Bogota Marriott made this Titanium Elite guest more than happy. The property is well run, in a great location, and the stay was comfortable, but the standout was the service. Miguel Angel at reception went far out of his way to make us feel welcome and showed a real talent for guest relations. Katherine was also a great help when I called with questions before arriving. Checkout with Laura and Edwin was quick and pleasant. At breakfast, Sandra, Viviana, and Angelica were a sharp, wonderful team. Esteban in the lounge and Emerly from housekeeping were great as well. Thanks for such a lovely stay!
