I only slept well three nights out of the twenty I stayed, because the manager and her assistant spent early mornings talking and laughing. And when my bicycle was stolen from the premises, after a moment when staff weren’t paying attention, I felt badly let down. They’d guaranteed it would be safe, but the thief took it over the fence. The manager had sworn on my arrival that nothing was wrong, then she and the administrator washed their hands of it. They reimbursed only 20% of the bicycle’s total value, and I had to beg the administrator to pay. The administrator was arrogant and showed no empathy. Terrible experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. There are better and safer options nearby.

The warning from Casa Coral's staff came a week before my stay, which I really appreciated. I didn't have to chase them about a reservation I'd made months earlier, and arriving in Bogotá at night only to find the place closed would have been awful. They said Casa Coral isn't operating. Very proactive of them.

It's a clean, quiet place with pleasant service and facilities, and the price is good. The bathroom is shared and sits outside the room. One thing that didn't work this time was the cable, so we only got local channels.

The food was delicious and there were lots of things to do, with an incredibly friendly staff to make the week enjoyable. I stayed at Casa Coral for a week, and it was one of my best experiences at sea. The room was spectacular. I'd really recommend staying several days so you can enjoy it all.
