I couldn’t sleep at all because of the loud noise from the air conditioning system in the rooms. I was exhausted the next morning. I asked to move rooms, but all three others they showed me had the same problem. When I complained, the receptionist said she didn’t speak English. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn’t one to speak to. After insisting for 40 minutes, she finally called a manager. She tried to keep me from speaking with him, but I wouldn’t accept that, so he eventually came out. He admitted the building had a problem with this noise. When I asked why they were renting those rooms, he acted as though he didn’t understand and kept saying not to worry, they’d move me to another hotel. I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you want to sleep. Making matters worse, they pretended there was no manager when there clearly was one. Hotels have managers. And the receptionist claimed she couldn’t speak English, which is unheard of in hospitality. Really poorly managed hotel.

I love this hotel. It’s in a safe area, and the place is nice and spacious. I had no issues with the front desk or anything else. They’re easygoing and friendly, and this will be my go-to hotel from now on.

The roof terrace had lovely city views, and breakfast was great. I was nervous after seeing recent one-star reviews about noise, dirt, and missing shampoo or shower gel, but none of that matched my stay. The hotel was lovely, the staff were great, and the location was amazing. I wondered if those reviews were for another hotel or perhaps fake ones from a competitor. The pool was closed for maintenance while I was there, which was a little annoying, though it should be open again by now. I probably wouldn't have used it much anyway, since Bogota isn't really a place you visit to spend all day by the pool. I'd definitely stay here again.
