Maybe 7- 8 years ago, I stayed longer at El Carnero Hostel and had a nice, tranquilo time. Carlos was running the place then and was awesome.

BEWARE of HOSTAL EL CARNERO CAFE BAR. I was there when the owner tried to get money from another guest in what seemed like a scam. He yells and swears at his employees, and his foul language is awful. He only speaks Spanish. He also tries to scam people through business deals. This place is just as bad.
