Hotel Boutique San Sebastian

San Sebastián Bogotá has a fresh, modern look that feels thoughtfully put together, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. My room was very comfortable and spacious for one person. It didn't have AC or heating, though I can't say if that applies to every room, and the temperature was fine during my stay. The location sits nicely between Parque 93/Zona T and the historic parts of the city, so it's convenient for seeing both. Cafés, bars, restaurants, a gym, and a grocery store are all nearby. A well-balanced option.

Be careful. While I was out, someone took money from my locked safety box. The manager didn't help. She didn't speak English, and as best I could understand, she blamed my visitors. But she couldn't explain how someone could open the box while I was in the room with a visitor. Hotel employees can get keys at the front desk that open the boxes without the keypad code. The hotel has serious safety problems. Edit: The manager's reply shows how poor the communication was. She asked about requesting the toilet, even though the bathroom was in my room. The cameras weren't working; she said the "administrator" handled them. She also never addressed the fact that employees can access the safety box keys, and nobody monitors who takes a key with a security camera. She admitted that.

The rooms were comfortable, the staff were great, and the rates were affordable. The location was perfect. There was some noise during work hours, but I found it quiet after 10 pm.

The staff are very friendly, and it's close to nightlife and entertainment. Excellent place, highly recommended.
