Hotel Expo Inn Corferias

I almost didn’t write a review because the woman who checked us in was so polite, but the stay was awful. The first bathroom was filthy, completely covered in unflushed fecal matter. I don’t know why we didn’t leave then. Maybe it was because she apologized and moved us to another room. Later, when we pulled back the blanket and sheet, there was a disposable toothbrush in the bed, and one pillowcase was stained. It was late, but she changed the sheets right away. I’m still wondering what the other beds and rooms were like.

Breakfast being included helped offset the price and the lack of comfort. My room was tiny, and getting out of bed felt like stepping straight into the bathroom. There was a lot of noise inside the building from the laundry and kitchen. Kitchen sounds started around 7 or 8 am; they didn’t bother me personally, but I can see how they’d annoy someone on vacation. The location was handy, with the places I wanted to visit no more than a 15-minute walk away. For the price, I’d suggest it for short stays or if you have errands in the area.

The staff were friendly, which was the only saving grace. The room was basic, with no closet or windows, and there was too much noise from the hallway and other rooms. No smart TV, either, and the bathroom had no hot water.

The rooms were clean, roomy, and very comfortable. A great place.
