Hotel La Sabana

The location was great, and the Colombian food was both tasty and authentic. The price matched the quality well. One thing they could improve: provide liquid soap or a bar in the bathroom.

The handmade breakfast was good, and the staff, including Santiago and the woman at reception, were friendly. Wi-Fi worked all the time. Rooms are adequate and get cleaned when you ask. The location is convenient for walking to the international center or monsarrate, and there are plenty of nearby food options within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend it.

Hotel La Sabana is well located, with lots of places to eat along 8th street, where locals go for good deals. The price was great, the place was very clean, and the service was good. My suite was roomy compared with the other rooms, had a style I liked, and a comfortable bed. Outside noise was audible, but that felt like part of the bogota experience and didn’t bother me. I nearly took off a star because the overnight staff member changed the price a little. The receipt I asked for the next day showed the original amount I was supposed to pay, and I hadn’t paid that amount. It was only a small difference, and I was still very happy with my stay.

Good value for the price, with a comfortable bed and decent breakfast included. The staff were friendly, and convenience stores are nearby. The room had a fridge and a working flat screen TV, but no heater, air conditioning, microwave, or safe. There’s no elevator, and nights can be somewhat noisy.
