Breakfast gave us a good start each morning, with everything from scrambled eggs to arroz frito and sopa con pollo. The room and hotel were great, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We felt welcome.

Right by the Corferias Convention Center, Hotel Risot was very convenient. It’s part of the Ayenda hotels and had the basics they promise: crisp sheets, hot water, WiFi, and a flat-screen TV, all at a reasonable price. I liked the breakfast choices and the paintings on the first floor. I’d recommend it for families or business trips.

The breakfast staff were good, and the location worked well. My room hadn’t been cleaned completely, though, and street-facing rooms get a lot of noise.

They were hostile to me as a foreigner and wouldn’t help, talk to me, or answer my questions. I don’t recommend this place.

It’s handy if you’re visiting the US embassy, and the shower was very nice with plenty of hot water. I didn’t find it very restful, though.
