Lafont Park Hotel

The location didn’t make me feel at ease, and I wouldn’t recommend it to a woman traveling alone to the capital. Staff noise carried so much that you could hear everything, so I wouldn’t suggest staying here if you want a pleasant rest. The rooms were clean, though, and the hotel service was excellent. The staff who welcomed me were kind and friendly.

The bed was terribly hard, and there was no nearby outlet. The only one was attached to the wall at TV height. I don’t mind a small room, but hearing people talk in their rooms and in the hallways takes away their privacy. On the positive side, the service was good and the staff were very friendly.

The service was excellent and breakfast was simple but tasty. The rooms left a lot to be desired, though. The beds were semi-double rather than double, and we only got one towel. The soap, with no usual hotel amenities, said “Motel Helysium” or something like that. It felt like a motel disguised as a hotel.

The service was good, and the rooms and bathrooms were in perfect condition. But there doesn’t seem to be much security in the area, and nightclub noise made it hard to get comfortable rest.
