NH Collection Bogotá Andino Royal

The service is good and the location is great, but the rooms feel closer to three-star than five-star quality. Breakfast also falls short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. The television in the lounge area of room 404 didn’t work during our stay, even after we reported it. It’s a shame, because the overall quality is still a long way from five stars.

Breakfast had a great range of fruit and Colombian food, and the atmosphere felt warm and homey. The location is excellent, and the staff in every part of the hotel gave great service.

Zona T is just a block or two away, with plenty of restaurants and bars, so the location worked perfectly for me. Getting to Candelaria and the main museums takes about half an hour by taxi, though. For places outside the center, like the botanical gardens, or day hikes in the Andes, the location matters less. I’d happily stay here again. I was here for 9 nights in Jan 2026. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and asking for a room away from the street meant quiet nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even when I declined room service, they often checked in, topped up the teabags and sometimes replaced a towel. They changed the linen whenever I asked. Breakfast was varied and excellent, and eggs could be made to order. I only found that out on day 5!

We'd happily stay here again, and we're grateful for the kindness we received. My elderly mom fell on a city walking tour and badly fractured her ankle, so she needed hospital care and surgery. The staff, especially Silvana, the hotel's customer service manager, checked on us, helped arrange what came next, and offered support and compassion throughout. They went far beyond what we expected. Thank you, Silvana and the wonderful staff at NH Collection Andino ❤️
