The host made this a bad stay. They wanted extra money for another person, said Airbnb would cover it, then still asked for that same amount if we extended another night. After that, they claimed the room was unavailable, even though it was still listed online. The room was so cramped you could barely get from one side to the other. Water was cut off in the morning because the neighborhood has an unreliable supply, and the host didn't help with the issue. Walking back in the evening felt unsafe. On that one street there were drunk guys, a motorcycle gang, and several homeless men following people. The next street toward Avenida Caracas was almost empty, beside an empty lot. I wouldn't stay here.

When we got to Bogota, we were sent to a completely different place. It wasn't pleasant, and the neighborhood seemed very unsafe.

The room wasn't clean, and there were extra charges we hadn't been told about. The owner was rude and unprofessional too. It was a negative experience, and I don't recommend it.

The location worked well, and despite the somewhat run-down neighborhood, we had no problems. The staff responds when you reach out, but questions in the Airbnb chat sometimes made me feel watched. At 11 p.m., for example, I was asked who had just arrived at my place. Fine for a short stay, but I wouldn't suggest staying longer.

There’s a kitchen of your own and everything you need to relax. The mattresses are really good, and the location is excellent, about two blocks from TransMilenio.
