The property is clean and attractive, with spacious rooms, a deadbolt, an in-room safe, a small kitchen and fridge, laundry service, and elevators, though the elevators are small. Its location across from a mall is convenient. Still, my stay was one of my worst hotel experiences, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone hoping to relax and rest. Getting around inside is confusing. It feels like three or four hotels share one property, and it's easy to get lost. The security process was also a hassle. Re-entering often meant waiting 10-15 minutes, sometimes being sent to the basement, and going through three checkpoints where staff kept asking which hotel we were staying at. The procedure changed depending on who was working. I understand the need for security, but they should apply the process consistently. Sleep was the biggest problem. There is no soundproofing, so even with the windows closed I could hear courtyard conferences and workshops. On several days people woke me at 6 or 6:30 a.m., and they were loud and inconsiderate. I came hoping to rest, but the noise and the uncomfortable bed left me sleeping badly. The bed was ancient and dipped in the middle; the couches were so old they sank deeply when you sat down. The room's water heater barely warmed the shower water, so they should consider replacing the heaters. Breakfast was the same each day, eggs, bread, and maybe some fruit. It was okay, but repetitive after a few days, and the breakfast room is tiny. I'm writing this as constructive criticism, not out of malice. The hotel has potential, and I hope they address these issues and improve their service. I know the pandemic affected the hotel's finances, but it's been over for a while.
