I wouldn’t recommend this hotel because of Eva’s incompetence and lack of awareness, though I hope that doesn’t reflect the hotel’s values or vision. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world where bottled water is complimentary. I told Eva water was included with my booking, but she didn’t believe me, and I ended up paying for two bottles. In a country like Colombia, where water is abundant and free, you’d think two bottles wouldn’t be a big deal.

I should have stayed at the Buena Vista Hotel, the sister hotel, where I’d been the night before. I wanted a change of scenery and got one, but this place is on a busy road with not much around. I should’ve researched more and stayed where there were lots of restaurants and things to see. Looks like I’ll need a taxi back to the other part of the city today.

I was lazy and should’ve picked an Airbnb instead. The room I got, 209, was awful: it faced a busy intersection, with motorcycles racing by all night, and I could constantly hear water running from people showering or flushing nearby. The facilities are dated, and the shampoo dispenser was empty. The people were friendly, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The pool and restaurant area has been redone since my 2025 update, and it looks great. Ava at the front desk and John in the restaurant are always super friendly and helpful. The stay was great, with nice rooms and very friendly staff, though it got a bit loud on a few nights. You can walk just about anywhere you need to go. I’d recommend it and stay again.
