It's a good choice for a night. The neighborhood is noisy, but you can't hear it from inside the rooms.

I'd heard good things about the restaurant, so this was a real disappointment. For the price, the food felt like a rip-off. The water came at room temperature, the steak looked reheated at a glance, the fries weren't really French fries, and the soup was more like custard.

The common areas have striking decor, and the hotel is in a safe area near Buenaventura's tourist district. The rooms are fairly priced and have what you'd expect from a good hotel. Breakfast is included and delicious. The mattresses are good, and the rooms are clean and have a small refrigerator.

It's a beautiful old building in a very good location. I do think hygiene could be better, especially in the bathroom.

Everything was close at hand, and the view was excellent. There's direct access to the boardwalk. I liked the place a lot, it was a really nice experience.
