Alko feels like a quiet oasis on a residential street, with a full five-star stay in the city and none of the commotion. The price is comparable too. Whoever runs the place got it right. The rooms are huge, with sturdy, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Everything felt clean, and the diverse mix of staff and visitors meant the hotel never seemed crowded. The pool, sauna, and lounge are beautifully decorated in a modern style, with lush landscaping. The spacious, airy design also makes good use of open terraces through the lobby while keeping AC in the rooms. I especially liked the breakfast buffet. You can leave your key card at the front desk so you don't lose it, and someone was always there monitoring the cameras for safety. The area itself felt extremely safe and welcoming. I've been so impressed with Alko that I'd only stay somewhere else if someone else were paying.

The workout room was way better than I expected, and all the facilities were kept in great shape. It was quiet, cozy, and comfortable too. This place was an unexpected delight.

The staff made me feel cared for throughout my stay at Alko. When I arrived, Johan at the front desk welcomed me warmly and got me checked in with no fuss. I had a great experience from start to finish. If you're heading to Colombia, especially Cali, I'd highly recommend staying here.

Still under construction, but they're doing all they can to make your stay wonderful, and mine was. This little hotel has a big heart. The beds were comfy, the rooms and hotel were very clean, and the location was great, within walking distance of two major plazas (malls) and lots of restaurants. Steven, Karen, Guillermo, Johan, and Luis were all really nice. I hope to come back.

The pool and dining area are lovely and work really well for families and groups. Breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality was amazing. One of the best hotel stays I've had anywhere in the world.
