Casa Blanca Hostel

The owners were really nice and helpful, and I liked that the place stayed quiet, even though it wasn’t very social. I had a great stay for the Feria de Cali. My private room had two double beds at an extremely good price, with a fan and plug sockets at each bed, plus a sofa, TV, and stand for hanging things. Towels and soap were supplied, and the wifi worked well. The communal spaces were nice too, including a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a terrace.

The owner takes good care of her guests and keeps the place clean and tidy. She clearly cares about this charming, fully renovated hostel. There’s a large kitchen with everything you need to cook, and the location works well, close to downtown, the bus terminal, and a huge park. It’s a friendly, family-run place I’d recommend without hesitation.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good. The wifi has been the best I’ve had at a hostel in Colombia so far. Laundry cost 20000, which is a bit pricey, but it was finished in three hours, so I thought it was worth it. This photo is of the smokers’ table just outside my reasonably priced room.

Stayed over a week and really enjoyed it. I could take day trips and leave my bags there safely. The staff are friendly, the kitchen is amazing, with good pans, filtered water from the fridge, and crushed ice. Rooms have fans and lots of plugs. It’s a chill, cheap place in a location I like, and they take card. Highly recommend.
