The owner is friendly, keeps the place very clean, and doesn't allow smoking, alcohol, or noise after hours. It's a safe, quiet bed and breakfast on a calm residential street off the main highway, so it feels quieter and safer than other hotels in the area. The old mansion has lots of character, with a dramatic spiral staircase and stained glass. There are room options for groups of up to seven or for just two, which helps keep it affordable. Some rooms even have hot water. A few things are damaged because of the property's age, but that didn't take away from our visit. The owner can make a homemade traditional Colombian breakfast upon request, and there's a great brunch spot around the corner. We highly recommend it.

This is a lodging house, so it doesn't have all the luxuries of a hotel. That's why our rates are lower than the hotels nearby. We're in a prestigious area for guests looking for rest and quiet, and the rule at every hotel here is that noise from your room shouldn't disturb other guests. Some negative reviews came from people who expected to party in their rooms at 2:00 AM, smoking and drinking. If you want to smoke, drink, and keep partying at 2:00 or 3:00 AM, our hotel isn't the right fit, and neither are the other four hotels in the area, since the same rule applies to everyone. Please keep voices, televisions, and music quiet in rooms and shared spaces, especially from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Smoking isn't allowed anywhere on the property or by the pool, especially in rooms. Don't hang clothes on balconies; ask to have them hung in the patio. The pool is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but access isn't part of the reservation fee. If the pool isn't available during your stay, please don't leave negative feedback, as you aren't paying for pool use. Only Hotel Toscana and our house have pools in this area of Cali. They charge $170,000 COP per person per night and it's a beautiful, luxurious place. We charge between $50,000 and $90,000 COP per person per night. Our house is very beautiful, but we don't have their luxuries. I'm sorry to those who felt uncomfortable being asked to keep quiet between 11:00 PM and 4:00 AM. I was doing my moral duty to protect the sleep of guests and neighbors, who had also complained about the late-night noise.

The neighborhood is quite quiet, but I don't think this is a good place to stay. You could barely even laugh without the manager, Adrián, acting like a police officer to keep everyone silent. There wasn't much water, the pool was dirty, and there were cobwebs in the closet in the room. They don't provide an extra key, and the manager's service was poor. Any cheap dump is better than this “hotel”.
