Hotel Mudejar

I like this hotel.

It's near the boulevard, and otherwise the place is fine. At night they only have water available, so you have to go outside if you want a soft drink. A vending machine might help. The doorman is also quite rude, and his manners need work.

The rooms are excellent, and the service feels warm and genuinely human.

For a place that's generally basic, the service is only okay. Air conditioning varies, with some rooms having modern units and others older, less efficient ones. My family booked two rooms, and one had a TV that never worked, even though someone supposedly came to repair it. The elevator holds very few people, so tour groups can end up waiting in a long line to reach their rooms. Meals were inconsistent too, sometimes too salty and sometimes too sweet. Even when it wasn't busy, the waitresses were slow bringing basic things to the table.
