Hotel San Blass Boutique

The bed was lovely, and I liked the boutique touches, but the internet was a real frustration. During our three-day stay, the rooms usually had no connection. We reported it several times, but they couldn’t fix it. They let us use the company Wi-Fi at reception, though it only reached the small lobby. Elsewhere in the hotel, I couldn’t even send a WhatsApp message. For the price and the way the hotel presents itself, that’s not acceptable these days.

I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, but this hotel was amazing value, around $20 a night. Breakfast was included, with fresh fruit, juice, a hot drink, and eggs cooked how you like them. The private room and bathroom were modern, and I loved the design details. It’s near the Cathedral and looks out over the beautiful San Felipe Church. Gracias por una estancia increíble!

A cozy, comfortable place, and the people running it really try to help. They even brought me a hot water bottle. There’s a great view of the nearby volcano, which is a nice reminder of your own mortality.

I was impressed by this new hotel in Pasto, even though I only stayed one night. The price was great, the place was lovely, and the staff were very helpful with both the accommodation and directions around the city. The internet was fast, and they’re connected with other local businesses, which can make things easier if it’s your first visit. They speak English and are happy to communicate on social media, so you don’t need to use your rooming.
