Hotel Santori

Really friendly staff and very nice rooms!!

The location is great, the facilities are modern, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are excellent. But the noise made it hard to rest. The walls aren’t brick and the hotel isn’t soundproofed, so you can hear everything. I stayed three days, and every night there were groups talking and laughing until the early hours. I don’t know whether they were guests or visitors, but it was very annoying. The hotel should set a cutoff for gatherings like that, ideally no later than 7:00 p.m. You pay for a place to rest, not to put up with noise late into the night.

I couldn’t get any proper rest either night. My room was right beside reception, where the doorbell kept ringing as taxis and guests arrived, and staff talked loudly just outside. At 5 a.m., people were watching TV in the lobby. The nights were awful and ruined the stay. Breakfast was very basic, just bread, eggs, and a little fruit. It was far below what I expected and nowhere near worth almost $100 for a sleepless night. I was put in a room next to reception, and there was noise through both nights: ringing doorbell, arriving taxis and guests, and staff talking loudly outside the door. People were watching TV in the lobby at 5 a.m. I had no real chance to rest, and it completely spoiled the experience. The breakfast was only bread, eggs, and some fruit. For nearly $100, that was nowhere close to what I expected.

The rooms are especially nice, and the hotel is lovely. Excellent service, highly recommended.
