Hampton by Hilton Cartagena

The hotel is in a great spot, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The problem was getting help at the reservation desk. There never seemed to be enough people, and every time I needed to talk to someone I waited about 30 minutes. The desk area is cramped, so it's confusing who has been helped, where to stand, and which staff member is free. It feels chaotic, and they really need to fix that.

The staff were warm, always smiling, and ready to help. Their local restaurant tips were spot on, and Arnold especially went out of his way with great nightlife suggestions. I'd highly recommend the hotel for the service and welcoming atmosphere.

A nice, quiet hotel in a noisy city, lol. The staff were great and the room was comfortable, though it didn't look like the online pictures. It's only steps from the beach and good food. They were always willing to help, even when they couldn't understand what I was saying, lol.

Housekeeping sometimes skipped my room, and on the days they came it was late afternoon, right around when I was getting back from the beach and wanted to relax. They also didn't add or replace towels when they cleaned. I had to go to the desk too many times to ask for things housekeeping should have handled.
