Casa Buga

We were close to the restaurants, shops, and nightlife, all just minutes away. Casa BuGó was a great place for our large group, and the staff did a lot to make everyone comfortable and make the stay feel special. The rooms had what we needed and were comfortable. We had an amazing time and would recommend it.

We rented the whole hotel for our group of 14, and it worked perfectly. Casa Bugo also arranged our transportation, excursions, and activities, including a private yacht for the day and several local trips. The Old Town location was convenient for restaurants and things to do, and felt safe. The staff were friendly and attentive, always offering help with real care for whether we were happy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would absolutely choose Casa Bugo again.

The staff were super friendly, called taxis for us, and gave us helpful advice. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including vegetarian options, and the pool in the middle of the hotel was great, with water that felt just right. We only stayed three nights and two days, but the hotel had everything we needed for that amount of time. The room and bed were really comfortable, with AC and other appliances, though the room is meant for couples. You can borrow bikes to ride around the city, but Cartagena isn’t really a bike place. A lot of the time you have to ride on the sidewalks. I highly recommend it for the service, price, and location.

The Old Town location is an A+, especially if you want to walk around early before the crowds. It’s a lovely little hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds, and a big, beautifully decorated bathroom. Breakfast was included, had good options, and tasted very good.
