What stood out most for my tourism trip was the location. Bocagrande beach is nearby, there are lots of places to shop, including D1, Farmatodo, and Ara, and plenty of restaurants. The tourist attractions are close too. I used DiDi, InDrive, and Uber without any transport problems, and rides were confirmed quickly. For the price, the apartments are good value, and I really appreciated how attentive and responsive the building management was when I needed help. I stayed in two rooms after extending my time in Cartagena. The first room I had booked was already reserved, so they moved me to another one. When I checked out at 12 and had to wait until the 3 check-in time for the room change, they let me leave my luggage in the room while they arranged it. The rooms were quite different. The first felt neglected, with worn furniture, an outdated bathroom, and things like the microwave and TV remotes in poor condition. The second was spectacular, and I don't know if it had recently been renovated. Some apartments could use improvement, but on a trip where I'm usually out sightseeing, the location matters more to me than the rooms, so it wasn't a major issue.

The view and location are great. The apartment we rented, though, was neglected. These are older places, and they lose their appeal when owners don't keep up with maintenance.

The staff at reception, cleaning, and elsewhere were all friendly and helpful, and I hope that continues. Our apartment was clean and well equipped, with a great view toward the port and the Caribbean Sea. The beach is only half a block away, a lovely spot to enjoy the sea.
