The rooms smelled awful and didn’t look like the photos, and there were lots of cockroaches. We were moved out of the first, better room because a family was arriving. They also locked us in, so we couldn’t get out in an emergency, and even disconnected the doorbell so we wouldn’t wake them. They didn’t answer WhatsApp while we were there either. It didn’t feel like a family-friendly place.

They switched off the air conditioning while we were still in the room, even in the heat. Worse, someone entered our room without permission before we had checked out, which was a serious invasion of privacy. The staff were also rude and showed no courtesy as we left. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this hotel or return.

The staff were very friendly, and I’d gladly stay again. It was a pleasant, quiet place in a great location, close to the seaports. Highly recommended.

The room had good equipment and the service was fine, but the bed smelled strongly of urine. That put me off staying any longer.
