The room was in terrible shape, with awful paint and linens and pillows that were in very poor condition. It was also extremely cramped, around 2 by 2 meters by my estimate. At just over 1.80 meters tall, I could touch one wall with my head and the opposite wall with my feet when lying down. The beds are concrete bunks with a soft mattress that you sink into, with no lumbar support. I woke up aching all over. There’s no soundproofing, and since the hotel sits on a main avenue in the neighborhood, traffic noise is heavy. In the early morning it really feels as if you’re sleeping in the street. I picked this place because it was near a company I was visiting in the Bellavista area, but the hotel looked nothing like its photos. The neighborhood has a lot of crime. Going out after 6 pm isn’t possible, and it feels dangerous even earlier. There aren’t any restaurants nearby, so you have to order delivery. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

The building’s facade is kept up, and a public transport route runs right past it. Some rooms have very nice finishes, though they’re small. The staff make an effort to give good service. The area isn’t pleasant, and the price feels a bit high for this location. It’s also often used as a motel.
There’s a small balcony above reception, outside the rooms, but not much else to make the stay comfortable. The rooms have no minibar or fridge, and there’s no restaurant, so you can only order delivery. Reception sells soda, water, and snacks in coolers, but if you want ice you have to go out and buy it. Bring your own toiletries, since they only provide soap. The rooms are small, the bathroom has no door, and I found cockroaches and stained sheets. It isn’t recommended to walk outside at night because it’s dangerous. Watch out on the stairs too, they’re slippery and have no handrail.
Good service and the option to pay by credit card were the things that earned this place two stars from me. For a couple, I found the double room a bit expensive given the facilities and the location. The rooms are small, the bathroom has no door, and some walls are drywall. It doesn’t really feel like a hotel, more like a dorm or motel.
The staff are friendly, and the service is good for somewhere to stay in this area while working.
