You get more than your money’s worth in this very touristy city. It’s a simple place, with friendly staff and a good location. The rooms at the back are the quietest. The Cartagena convention center is a two-minute walk away, and the sea is about 15 minutes on foot.

The best thing about this hotel is how close it is to the historic center. Otherwise, it’s run-down, my room’s refrigerator didn’t work, and there was a lot of dampness. There had also been a change in management, and check-in took an extra hour because they couldn’t find my deposit. The price is only just reasonable for what you get. From what I saw, there are better and cheaper options nearby.
