Hotel Andalucía

We were given a room with a wet floor and such a strong bleach smell that our eyes watered. There was noise constantly, inside and out, and loud music playing at the hotel. The service was terrible, and it’s expensive for what it is. This feels more like a motel than a hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere to rest, don’t come here. Never again!

The room was clean and tidy, and the place itself is nice. The bathroom is small, but perfectly adequate. Still, it feels more like a motel than a hotel. A family coming to rest shouldn’t have to listen to other people moaning, and the night staff should understand that. The woman working that night also seemed very rude when I greeted her cordially.

They say breakfast is included when you arrive, then charge for it at checkout. There’s also a set check-in time, and they won’t let you in if you arrive after 10 a.m. The service was awful. They have no respect for guests’ privacy, entering rooms through the windows to record people and gossiping about everyone’s lives. A truly terrible experience.

The facilities are good, and we were treated well when we arrived, especially by a very friendly young man, I think his name was Oscar. But the staff started making an incredible amount of noise before 6 a.m., talking, washing clothes, ringing the bell, and who knows what else. We got in exhausted around midnight after a tiring day of travel, so paying to sleep for just five hours was no fun. They could have put us in another room instead of right next to the kitchen. There was no choice at breakfast either: just a cup of milk with chocolate powder and an arepa with egg. Nothing else. They need more professionalism and common sense.
