There’s a security guard in the lobby 24 hours a day, which helped us feel safe. The location is handy for shopping and restaurants, although getting there involves some pretty steep walking, so it may not suit everyone. We had a tour guide booked, which we think is a must to get the full value of Medellin. The management and hotel staff were excellent. This apartment-style hotel didn’t provide breakfast, but the place was fully equipped with kitchen amenities and a safe, both of which we used. We’d highly recommend it for a short or long stay.

Provenza and the lively streets are only minutes away, yet the setting still feels peaceful, like a little retreat. The service was warm, attentive, and quick to respond. My apartment felt luxurious and carefully designed, with comfort and style in every corner, and the price was just right. The whole experience felt five-star. I can’t imagine finding a better place, and I highly recommend it.

It was easy to get to the Provenza and Poblado areas by taxi or Uber in about 5-10 minutes, while staying out of their chaos. The neighborhood itself was quiet and surrounded by greenery, though there wasn’t much within walking distance. From the rooftop, the views were amazing. My one-bedroom apartment was comfortably sized, and the staff were friendly and attentive. David at the front desk especially went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The one thing I’d ask management to reconsider is the price. Nightly, weekly, and monthly rates are more than two or three times what you’d pay for something similar in the same neighborhood or elsewhere in the city. They’re comparable to apartments I’ve seen in some of the most expensive U.S. cities. I think those rates discourage longer stays, and the place often seems half empty. Pricing closer to similar Airbnb listings could make the experience better for guests, encourage longer stays and more spending, and ultimately bring in more revenue and profit for Loma Verde’s management and staff. That said, I highly recommend it. I’d spent three years living in different areas around Medellín, including Rio Negro and Llano Grande, and thought I’d have to leave the city to find real peace and quiet. A last-minute booking that I expected to last a few days turned into more than a month at Loma Verde. It’s centrally located for getting around the city, has every amenity I could want, including a dishwasher I’d never seen elsewhere in Medellín, and is as peaceful as a farmhouse in Rio Negro. I hadn’t thought that was possible in the city. The apartments are very well built and soundproofed. The staff are the best, too. Most speak English as well as Spanish, which is helpful for foreigners, and they went out of their way to make it possible for me to stay longer than planned. This is one of the best-run places in the city. Shout-out to Jean, Mateo, Oscar, James, German, David, and everyone else on the staff! 🖤🇺🇸🤝🇨🇴🤍

The mountain views were stunning, and the interior design was stylish, modern, and beautifully done. My room was spotless and had everything I needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The service was excellent, too. The location was perfect, about a 15-minute walk from Provenza and near lots of great restaurants. I had an amazing time at this aparthotel in Medellín and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
