Hotel Mayura

Really good.

We won't be going back. The hotel itself was comfortable and seemed upper-middle range, but that night was extremely stressful. My husband urgently needed medicine we'd left in the car, and the young man covering reception had locked us inside, so we couldn't reach the parking lot. The dogs were barking, and we knocked on cabin doors hoping someone would help, but nobody came. We also called the number the hotel had given us, only to find their phones switched off. It was Sunday night, there were no other guests, and they left us completely alone. On top of that, the TVs had no signal. They ran through YouTube, with just one channel available.

I left with a bad impression and told the managers I felt cheated. The first cabin had ants everywhere, and its air conditioner was loud without doing much. They moved us, but the replacement cabin had neither TV signal nor internet. The pool wasn't well maintained either. I asked for a refund for the next night because of these problems. They understood, apologized, and gave it to me, but I still can't recommend the place.

The pool is nice and the hotel is very clean. The cabins could use more investment, though: the beds aren't comfortable, the TVs are dated and still have antennas, and there should be a coffee maker and a snack vending machine.
