Hostal Restaurante y Spa Mama Neyumun

After 2 nights, this was a mixed stay at best, though first impressions were promising. The exterior is inviting and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. It's convenient for Tayrona Park: the Zaino entrance is 25 minutes away on foot, or frequent buses run right outside every 15 mins for 6,000 COP. Shops for basics are a 10-minute walk away, and water is cheap at 2,500 COP for two 1L bottles. For dependable internet, 2 restaurants 200m away have solid wifi at 50-100mbps. There are some good facilities, including spacious rooms and bathrooms, reliable AC and a ceiling fan, and a large pool area with plenty of loungers and hammocks. But the noise from trucks was a major problem. A nearby speed bump means constant braking and acceleration, and the road noise affected our sleep both nights. The shower had strong pressure, but the water was colder than at the sink. Wifi was frustratingly weak, only working near windows and barely managing 720p streaming without buffering. There were visible cleanliness issues with the bathtubs, and the food felt overpriced, 20,000 COP/4€ for a basic ham and cheese sandwich. This could suit a budget traveler who puts pool access and proximity to Tayrona Park ahead of comfort. If you're a light sleeper, though, the road noise is a real issue.

For the two of us, this was a great deal for 2 nights while travelling through Tayrona park. It was quiet and had great facilities. The room, ‘Luna’, was amazing.

The owner and staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the food was really good. We had an amazing stay in the bungalow. It's perfectly located for going to the Tayrona park, and I'd recommend staying here.

We didn't stay here, but came for dinner 3 days in a row. The restaurant was very clean, the food was great and tasty, and the service was nice throughout. A very good choice compared with the restaurants around. Highly recommended!
