Gustavo and Alejandro took great care of us. The whole crew was wonderful.

The outdoor slope meant guests would be seated on a hill, kind of sideways, which doesn’t sound comfortable. The grass was full of biting bugs, more than I’ve come across anywhere else I’ve been in Medellin, though I know that can happen here. Food choices for weddings were limited to three plates, then narrowed to one meal for everyone. Two options weren’t good and the third was decent at best. I can’t stress this enough, stay away from this place for an event or wedding. I speak Spanish, have family here in Colombia, plan events, and run my own business. They ruined our wedding experience. A week before our wedding, the event owner called to say our time was now 5pm and we had to change it because she’d sold the space to someone else. That wasn’t the time we agreed on. She argued I was wrong, and when I later showed proof her staff had confirmed a different time, she said they weren’t the owners and we still had to change it. Changing a wedding time just a few days beforehand is hellish when there’s so much to organize. A few days before this mess, she’d also tried to charge us more for the food and venue. She was incredibly rude, called us liars, and blamed us instead of helping find an amicable solution. We were paying thousands of dollars, and she wouldn’t work with us. We asked for a refund. She said she’d take a 35% penalty, and when we said fine, give us what’s owed, she refused. She told us to hire a lawyer and said she was willing to go to war. We don’t want this before our wedding, but now we have a lawyer, are talking to our bank, and she won’t meet with us or take our calls. She also changed what she’d told us about the complimentary car service for family. She said we could only get one ride, and the car holds seven people, after previously saying we could get 4-5 rides. Her customer service is incredibly bad. I’ve attached a photo of someone else on trip advisor who had a similar experience, so this doesn’t seem to be a unique story. The place claims to have 80+ reviews, but how many reviewers have lots of other reviews? How many can you google and find as real people you could track down to speak with? You can find my social media pages, websites, and real Google+ page, and my name is easy to search. I stand behind this review and believe this is a HORRIBLE place to hold any event or wedding.

My dear friends booked this venue for their wedding, and the business took advantage of them. After insisting they change the event time, the owner wouldn’t meet them halfway to make it easier. Instead, the business kept their money while they tried to find another venue that would treat them better. This was dishonest and unprofessional, caused stress for everyone, and worst of all ruined their wedding experience. Please do your due diligence and be careful working with this business.

We booked this venue months ahead after an employee confirmed our dates. Just days before, the owner insisted we change the date and time, which we couldn't do with guests already planned. When we asked for our money back, she refused and showed no willingness to work something out. She also won't stand by the business's word or the signed contracts, so we're now hiring an attorney. I wish we'd never gone there. Find another venue.
