Torre Monserrate Hotel

I asked to speak to a manager and wasn't allowed to meet with anyone. I was also told I couldn't wait briefly in the lobby for someone who was getting into their car. The staff came across as dismissive and unhelpful, with no effort to address things or calm the situation. At Four Points by Sheraton Tequendama, Bogotá, room service was done but the towels weren't replaced. I called the front desk for towels and bottled water, and they said it would come shortly. Two hours later, nothing had arrived, so I called again. Instead of sorting it out, staff argued that they only provide one bottle of water “as a courtesy.” Water wasn't the point. The lack of follow-through, professionalism, and basic care was frustrating, especially as a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member for the second year running, when I'd expect a higher standard. I wouldn't recommend this location if you're looking for quality service, care, or accountability. This isn't the Marriott standard I've come to expect.

Luna & Hasbleidy at the spa made the day for my partner and me. They looked after us from the moment we arrived and made us feel welcome. The massage and facilities were great, and everything was spotlessly clean. I'd absolutely recommend it for a relaxing spa day, including for couples. I was only at the spa as a guest this time, not staying at the hotel. The spa at the neighboring hotel was horrible, so I'm glad we found this place. Everything at the hotel looks beautiful and elegant too, and I'd definitely stay there next time! 🙂

The rooms look great after the update, and the location is good, but I didn't find the stay very comfortable. Road noise was significant, and vehicle exhaust fumes came into the room all night even with the windows closed.

I had a really good time here. I hadn't brushed up on the language, but the staff were accommodating and helped me through the language barrier. Everyone was great, and that's on me, not them. The location worked well for getting around on foot, and I walked to nearby places. I was often out for hours, but felt safe. When there was trouble nearby, staff would advise me where not to go. If you like walking, this seems like a great place to stay.
