I've travelled for almost a year without a bad hotel experience until this one. Somehow my booking ended up on the wrong date. I noticed the date was wrong in the confirmation email and called the hotel about a minute after booking to change it. The staff were rude and said I couldn't change or cancel, so I had to pay the full no-show price. I went to the hotel because I didn't want to pay for nothing, and they said they only accept cash. Yet they had no problem charging my card for the no-show even after I went there. Poor service, no customer support, money-hungry and dishonest. EDIT: they tried to charge my card three times!

I stayed for 10 days, and the noise at night bothered me. The plastic cover on the mattress made sleeping feel like being in a hospital. Staff were generally courteous, but housekeeping and laundry service for the room were pretty poor, and the facility wasn't maintained well.

I'm visiting Colombia from Canada, and they charged me a $20 “cleaning” fee. This was my first time booking a room here and the first time I've ever been charged that fee in Colombia. I feel scammed. This is my first and last stay at this hotel.

The neighborhood is lovely. The rooms were excellent, breakfast was good, and the staff were excellent too. Just be aware there isn't a lift.

They cancelled the reservation without telling me beforehand or explaining why. Utterly rude.
